About Project
Company: Coefficient
Coefficient is a fast-growing data and analytics SaaS company helping teams bring live business data into tools like spreadsheets and dashboards.
As the company scaled, they needed a more structured and efficient way to design and ship marketing pages. The goal was to build a solid design system that would ensure consistency across the product while enabling AI-driven workflows using Claude for faster page creation, testing, and iteration.
Problem
Design and development cycles for new pages and experiments were slow and inconsistent, averaging around 5–8 days from concept to production.
This created bottlenecks in launching marketing pages and running experiments. The team needed to significantly reduce turnaround time to 2–3 days while maintaining high design quality and consistency across all outputs.

Design system development
Created a scalable design system in Figma with structured tokens, components, and guidelines for reuse.

Testing and validation
Validated components and layouts through iterative testing to ensure flexibility and performance.

Component development in Storybook
Built a production-ready component library in Storybook to align design and engineering.
Phase 4
Integration with Claude Code and Claude Design and prompt engineering
Connected the design system with Claude workflows to enable AI-assisted page generation and iteration. Developed and refined prompts to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs aligned with the design system.
